Of course, I adore the fact that the Institute for Supernatural and Unexplained Sciences is in Michigan! Yeah, we would TOTALLY have a place like this! LOL
MSU had a class called: AMS 450 – Major Themes in Pop Culture
“This course illustrates a variety of sci-fi themes: utopian and dystopian societies, relationships between humans, alien contact, post apocalyptic futures, female heroes and the metaphor of the vampire and the zombie. We will look closely at Aliens, The Terminator and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. We will read fiction and essays by Octavia Butler, Margaret Atwood, Bell Hooks, and others.” *Fun stuff!
Plus, Michigan State recently had a class about surviving the Zombie Apocalypse.
Yes, we take our paranormal seriously! LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!
He! He! I know, right! Throw that on your resume. “Oh…I see you majored in Buffy the vampire Slayer and you’re certified in surviving the Zombie Apocalypse. Nice. Very nice.) Michigan State one of the top colleges, too…which makes this even funnier. It’s like the JH thing all over again. States that start with M are “interesting.”
