Bite Me!

So the other day I was in the midst of aggravations and randomly typed “Bite Me!” into google – and you wouldn’t believe what came up as the top result (or maybe you already know and I’m just behind?)

Bite Me is a hilarious vampire comic drawn by Dylan Meconis. The French revolution is raging in, well, France, and Claire is a board, easily distract-able serving wench. but that all changes when a suave, dark haired stranger waltzes into the inn, defends her from a tush slapping rogue, and then asks to sleep in the wine cellar. Clair is smitten at once, but the mysterious suave vampire-esque guy seems more interested in escaping – that is until Claire cuts her finger peeling potatoes…

The comic is available as a book, or you can read it online for free. It’s broken up into six chapters with an epilogue, but if you read it straight through by using the “next’ button on the bottom of each page, there is no break from one chapter to the next. I’m now on Page 77, which is roughly ten pages until the end of chapter four, and I really recommend it.

So, have you ever done a weird google/yahoo (etc) search and found something good? If so, what was it?

That’s cool about the comic/book thing.

No I never did a weird random search, maybe I should give it a go 🙂

    • You should! I do them all the time to fill in moments while I am trying to think, etc. You;d be surprised the stuff you can find!

Great fun, and the pretty blonde vampire, all chiselled, made me smile and think of Lestat lol

        • yes! I thought he was rather attractive in the panel where he lands on the werewolf in the cell! hee-hee!

Yes, he was pretty hee hee. Want to buy the comic sometime, it’s very good. Also want to read your novels as well when I get a chance.

Writing my own vampire novel. I love vampires, they can bite me anytime (I only don’t like the Edward wimp that sparkles…please, someone stake him through the heart sometime soon…)

            • I saw that one your blog! I’m interested to hear how your re-write is going 🙂 I hate doing them, myself, but that’s how I did both of mine, and how I will do books 3 and 4 too (I have a rough disaster pre-written that needs completely redone!)

What? Not into the sparkles? *snicker* Even worse is the way he just dances around and lets Bella make out with other guys and everything else… ugh!

Rewrite is being attempted again today. Been struggling with it, so hoping Halloween will bring me spooky inspiration needed 🙂

  4. Lol, how cool is that.
persnally i don’t tend to search much on search engines.
    only when i need to

  5. I searched up “dirty bastard” because it was the only thing I could think of and came up with a rapper.

However, I did check out “sparkly” to see if Edward would pop right up, and he was further down the first page. Up above was a cleaning service and a thing about sparkly smiles.

It’s kind of fun to see what will pop up when you do this. 😀

    • Ha ha! Isn’t it? I do it routinely for fun when I have random spare time. I’ve found some really awesome stuff that way.

Ha! So Edward is NOT the king of sparkly, then! LOL!
