Six Sentence Sunday

After it’s holiday break, Six Sentence Sunday, the weekly event where writers post six sentences from any manuscript they choose (published, unpublished, work in progress) has resumed. I’d like to say I have some kind of logical plan for my six sentence choices, but I don’t.

So, today’s comes from my WIP Ties of Blood because it won at eeniey-meeney-miney-mo.

(working cover)

(Jorick has promised to take Katelina somewhere warm, and she’s getting impatient for him to fulfill that promise)

It takes time to make preparations.” His face became serious. “I can’t just go on spur of the moment trips anymore.  Between luggage x-ray and security checks it’s very hard to travel with a vampire in a trunk. I like to think I’m very patient with your human limitations,” he commented quietly. “In return…”

Be sure to check out Six Sentence Sunday for some great excerpts!

    LMAO That was too funny!

He might have to be in a trunk but she gets the pat down if she doesn’t get scanned by those naked body scanners. Hard to think of who has it worse. 😛
