Six Sentence Sunday

It’s time again for six sentence Sunday – only this week is the anniversary (see my previous blog all about that!) –  and I am still plodding along slowly on my WIP Ties of Blood.

(working cover)

Since everyone wanted to know where Katelina was going… well, now you know:

“Yes, by the way, I am serious. Where else do you think The Guild’s citadel is?” “Iowa?” she repeated with disbelief. “There’s nothing in Iowa except corn.”

“And lots of Vampires,” Verchiel added.  “Can you think of a better place?”

I’m an Iowan girl at heart. Where else would it be? 😉

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out the other participants!

  3. Ok, now I have another reason to get back to Korea ASAP. I do not need to still be here and have some Vampire decide to snack on me. *shakes her head* nonono.

Great Six, see you next week.

  6. I have to agree with the ‘as long as they don’t sparkle’ sentiment.

Iowa. Isn’t that where the Children of the Corn took place? If so, then it makes perfect sense that vampires would be there too. 😛

Nebraska would be another good choice. Thanks for the humorous snippet!

    • Thanks, Lex! Iowa gets treated shoddy when it comes to the paranormal, but all that open space just reeks of it to me!

  13. Love how you picked Iowa as a hot spot for vamps. Works as well as Sunnydale for me.
