It’s time again for Six Sentence Sunday, the very cool blog group where participants post six sentences from something they’ve written. It’s a great way to meet new authors and writers.
I’m almost done with my WIP Ties of Blood – over a month late, but better late than never, huh? As such, here’s some more from it
Jorick has just told Katelina that tomorrow she must meet with Malick, the head of the Vampire’s Guild.
She swallowed hard and bit her bottom lip. “How bad is that?” “I don’t know.” He met her eyes and held them. “Malick is much, much older than anyone you’ve ever encountered, and infinitely more powerful. He makes what I or Kateesha could do look like a child’s game. If he chose, he could read your soul and destroy your mind in a few moments, without flinching at the effort.” |
Thanks for stopping by, and be sure to check out the other participants!
