Lots-O-Links #5

This is the fifth edition of Lots-O-Links, posts where I randomly share links. Fun, huh? I can now call it the weekly post that one person has gone on record as liking. Pretty cool!

If you have any links to share please mail them to me at Joleene (at) JoleeneNaylor (dot) com or else post them in the comments!

There’s a new blogger on the block! Rob Loughran, author and collector of jokes, has made the move to ebooks and to blogger! Check out his fun blog “50 Reasons to Stop Writing”. You can also check out his newest joke books “A Man Walks Into a Bar” and Grandma Hazel’s Funny, Funny Kidz Jokebook

Barb is looking for help with her back of book blurb.  Stop by and give her your opinion! (I am also doing this, so go look at mine, too!)

Writers should also check out Sharon S’s post “10 Things a Good Book Makes Me Do ” over on the Love, Romance, Passion blog.

In book news, Barbara Shenson’s cookbook, YOYO, You’re on Your Own Cookbook guides the novice though a selection of culinary treats with clear cut directions and plenty of how to tips.

Sean Grey’s Calm Your Driving Test Nerves is also out. You can get it at Smashwords or B&N, Kobo, etc.  Also check out his website http://www.stagefrightfreedom.com/index.php where he discusses stress management.

And in huge book news, Borders, who has been struggling for some time, finally closes.

A quick look at art, Steph FINALLY posts her Mad Hatter video – you have to check out her painting, it will blow you away!

In total randomness, did you know that Canadians get milk in bags? (if you’re Canadian, your answer doesn’t count *cough*Sue*cough* I did not know this, so I found the blog by mewithmycamera very interesting!

And that’s all I have right now. Have a great week everyone!

I love my subscription to everything you have to offer. I especially enjoy the Lots of Links — of which I am going to follow some of these people. They are great!

Your website that you have here is fantastic and well thought out. My only problem is that in Firefox I have to select to allow webiste — then it takes over 10 seconds to load (maybe longer). It may be because of my settings with FireFox — of which I hate — but, have to use if I am to read my bank statements.

I say it could be my browser settings because I had to click on allow on all the links. I guess I have it on extra protection.

BTW, “MeWithMyCamera” — Is that you?

    • I’m not sure who mewithmy camera is, as far as a “real name” or anything. They have a very interesting blog, though 🙂

I will mention that to my hubby – thanks! 😀 He will know whether it is settings or what not.
