Lots-O-Links #6

This is the fifth edition of Lots-O-Links, posts where I randomly share links. Fun, huh? I can now call it the weekly post that one person has gone on record as liking. Pretty cool!

If you have any links to share please mail them to me at Joleene (at) JoleeneNaylor (dot) com or else post them in the comments!

History Buffs may find Ruth Ann Nordin’s video of an 1800’s kitchen interesting. I know I did. I just love the old fashioned forks; they’re so narrow and long! She has also posted a video of a model of a Mandan Indian settlement

Richard North – aka the mind behind The Art’s Web Show – has moved his “headquarters” to http://richardnorth.net/ . Not only is it very clean and organized, but ti also has several subscribe options – including email!

In ebooks, Bryon Williams second novel, Twilight Escort Agency is out and looks to be a good laugh. If you’re not familiar with him, he also has another novel, The Tourist from the Light, which also looks good!

Lovers of historical books will love the website Barb found – it has over 5,000 Historical novels listed by time period and location!  Definitely a very cool resource! (thanks, Barb!)

I Smell Sheep is running yet another give away (they do TONS of thse!) this one is for a signed copy of  new Urban Fantasy Rogue Oracle by Alayna Williams .  Check it out!

Reena Jacobs is also doing a paranormal/thriller giveaway as part of a blog hop. I *think* it is still going – the end date is listed as the 23rd, but it only started the 23rd, so I would guess that is a typo- she’s been hanging around my stuff too much, lately!  😉 The winners from last week are at the top of the post, so scroll down for details of the newest one.

And for the bizarre – Julie has posted photos of what look like little metal doors over graves. If anyone knows what these “doors” are for or what they’re called, we’d all like to know! Hop over to her blog and check it out!

And that’s all I have right now. Have a great week everyone!
