This is the ninth edition of Lots-O-Links, posts where I randomly share links. Fun, huh? I can now call it the weekly post that one person has gone on record as liking. Pretty cool!
If you have any links to share please mail them to me at Joleene (at) JoleeneNaylor (dot) com or else post them in the comments!
Ruth Ann Nordin’s They Stole Your Book! Now What? is now available at Smashwords as a free download to help authors who have their work stolen.
Looking for a laugh? Check out Sarcastic Responses to Perfectly Well Meaning Signs – there are some really hilarious ones!
And while we’re on the subject of humor, DM Yates has a collection of her favorite youtube videos to cheer her up. I got a good laugh out of them, too! Yes, this is an older post, but I’m new to her blog! She also has a lot of very good guest posts, many of which are poets, so be prepared to hang around awhile. (What do you expect form someone sorted Ravenclaw? *hint* I was Ravenclaw, too – lol!)
What? you’ve never been sorted? Then go here and take the sorting test! There is also a very good wand test for Harry Potter enthusiasts, but it is rife with pop up adds, and don’t bother emailing the site owner because they won’t answer you! (hint, it’s me.) oh. It appears to be down because it has exceeded it’s bandwidth!?!?! Wow. I had no idea it was so popular! Anyway, it will be back September first they say, so here’s the link.
In author blogs, Barb posts the question: Is it unethical for authors to review one another’s books? What do you think?
Another old post; the difference between All Right and Alright. This is something I “know” but forget randomly and have to look up again. (Can you tell I just looked it up?)
In ebooks, Reena Jacobs is giving away a copy of her new book I Loved You First. To enter check out all the info here!
PNR (paranormal Romance) fans should check out Gravetells, a site for paranormal reviews and news. (Which recently posted an interview with Lisa Kessler, who I am acquainted with from Blogophilia!) – thanks for the link Barb!
Also, lovers of all things dark might be interested in Dark Media City – an online group for lovers of dark movies, books, tv shows and more. (thanks again to Barb for this one!)
I’ll leave you with a self serving link – I FINALLY got my website updated! 46 photos and 55 book covers. Wow. I also added the info about the new book on the home page and will soon be adding a section for it under “My Books”.
And that’s all I have right now. Have a great week everyone!
