Spring Fling Blog Hop!

SFH redoneThanks so much for stopping in! As you can see I’ve joined the Spring is in the Air bloghop which is hosted by quite a few lovely blogs, including I Smell Sheep, which is one of my favorites. There is a $70 gift card giveaway with the hop, and I have my own giveaway as well where you can win a 20$ gift card and more (see the bottom of this post for details)

So. A Spring bloghop. Yep. Spring is finally in the air – sort of – and I’m glad. I’m tired of winter. I mean really, really tired. But, I bet I’m not half as tired of it as the protagonist in my Amaranthine series, Katelina.

The sixth book in the series, Children of Shadows, has just been released, and Katelina is slogging through the end of winter.  Just because spring is finally coming doesn’t mean things are going to get warm anytime soon, which leaves her wearing the second hand coat her boyfriend Jorick gave her.

Not very stylish, is it? Why hasn’t she bothered to buy a new coat? Probably because every time she buys clothes she ends up losing her luggage thanks to some crazy vampire catastrophe, like being kidnapped, getting attacked, or having to flee for her life from a crazy ancient cult. Just the usual hazards of hanging out with vampires, but I think it’s time we find our heroine something new. What should she pick?

Something girly?

Something sporty?

Something leather?

Something fur lined?

Something kawaii?

Something a little lolita?

Or maybe something a little more vampire?

What do you think? Leave your vote in the comments below and be sure to enter the giveaways!

Children of Shadows: Legends rise and secrets are revealed in a world where vampires walk, drenched in blood and shadows.

An extinct cult resurfaces to wage war on the vampire guilds. Led by a familiar face, they wreak havoc while Katelina and Jorick are trapped in Munich. Ume, a vampiress who claims to know Verchiel, offers the help of her secret organization.

But, can they trust Ume and her friends? Why have the Children of Shadows reappeared? Is it really a former ally that leads them, or a look alike?

  5. I like the Lolita : )

  6. Hard to choose!!! Um leather I shall go with the leather. Nothing says sexy and tough like leather.

  7. I love the vampire coat. I’d totally wear that. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by my blog and entering the “Cursed & Coveted” giveaway, Jolene, and good luck! Loved your answer to the entry question.

Btw – and maybe it’s just my Avast! malware alerter that’s wonky or something, because you never know these things for certain – every time I come to this page, it triggers a warning for: “h_www_wholesale11_org__images__moncler-down-jacket-w…”. This is the information that pops up. Just letting you know that there *might* be something lurking. 🙂

The Vampire Coat is great. I would love be skinny enough to wear it.

  10. How about something vampire-ish in leather? I think the combination of both would definitely make the statement she needs.

  11. Something Vampiric! Love the timeless look of lace and heels!
