Amaranthine Week Long Facebook Party

You read the title right. From October 11 – 17 I’ll be hosting a vampire party on facebook with games, giveaways and more.

What’s a facebook party? It’s an online event where readers, authors, and anyone who stumbles in can post, comment, and just hang out. Participants don’t need to have the Amaranthine party page open all day – heck they don’t even need to stop in every day – just participating once will get you an entry for the grand prize:

A Jorick and Verchile doll, handmade by the amazing Donna Yates. How cool is that?

Each day will bring a new event – and new games, contests and chances to win several prizes, including a coffee mug, autographed book marks and more. The schedule so far (which is subject to change):

Sun, 11 –   Welcome to the shadows!
Mon 12 –    Ask a Character – Any character, any question
Tues 13 –   Vampires can be fun – Verchiel takes over
Weds 14 –  Ask the Author – anything goes
Thurs 15 –  Guest authors – Do you write vampires? Come on down. (Hoping to have a couple of featured authors)
Fri 16 –       TBA
Sat 17 –       Prizes awarded

There is one little catch to all the fun – in order to vote in contests, or win prizes, participants MUST click the “going” button. This is a public event, which means you don’t need an invite to join. However, it’s great if you do invite your friends.

To get us in the mood, there will also be  special games in August and September with some cool prizes, so go join the party and be sure to invite your friends!

I want one of those dolls

  2. Those are cool dolls Donna made! 😀

I’d love to come. I know someone who’s written vampire romances. What do you think of featuring Lauralynn Elliott? She’s working on a sequel to Soul of a Vampire as we speak.

I’ll share this with others to help get the word going. It sounds like it’l be a lot of fun!

    • That would be awesome! I have a post posting in a couple days with the details I need from fellow authors for the feature 😀

  3. unfortunately Author pages cannot “go” to events… but my own vampire book comes out Nov.1st, so if you’d like to have me on the 15th, I’ll be there… let me know what I’m supposed to do! 😉
    p.s. Cool dolls, Donna! 😀

  4. I can’t wait. It’s going to be so much fun!
