So, as most of you know, reviews on bad movies is not the only thing I write. I’m actually REALLY excited to reveal the cover to the anthology that I am published in this year! Check it out!

/ October 16, 2015Joleene, just finished your first short that appears in this anthology. I think its called ‘Unforgotten’. Wouldn’t that be ‘Remembered’? đ
I must say, it is the most brilliant story in the collection thus far. I kept picturing the main female character of Marjorie being played by Helena Bonham Carter.
I loved how you get your reader to identify with her and Gordon first, and then peel back the layers of their flawed characters to reveal just how twisted they are.

/ October 16, 2015Thanks so much! Heh-heh, I’m not excited about the title, I couldn’t think of one and the deadline was there :p it needs something better but I can’t come up with it! Lol!
So glad you enjoyed it! I was worried that the slow build in it was too slow but apparently not đ

/ October 16, 2015The slow build offers enough intrigue into what they are up to, that it adds to the overall effect. I was just poking a bit of fun at the title. ‘Unforgotten’ makes one stop and think a bit. Definitely sounds more mysterious than ‘Remembered’. đ
Actually conjured images of the haunting western titled ‘Unforgiven’. Just the title of your short, mind you-not your short story itself.
Looking forward to reading the rest of ‘When the Lights Go Out’.
