#FirstLine Friday -Diana

FLFIt’s time for #FirstLineFriday! On Friday, authors post the first one or first two lines of a potential work, a work-in-progress, or a published work  on their blog, and title the post #FirstLineFriday (just like this). It’s  a lot of fun, so feel free to join in! You can share your link on my blog comments, or on Rami Ungar’s (the brains behind FLF).

Today’s first line comes from the short story Diana, part of the Thirteen Guests collection.

Diana walked through the doorway to find her son flopped in a chair. His dark hair was cropped short and his beard was neat and trim. It was the sunglasses perched on his head, his terrible posture, and the baggy clothes that made him look like a slob.

What do you think? What’s your first line for the week?

  1. That’s a great feature, I might join you and make it a regular thing, schedule permitting; ) Spread the word on FB and Twitter by sharing your post, I hope this becomes a big hashtag!

    • It is such an awesome thing! I keep hoping Rami might organize a blog signup type thing for it because I have people ask me “Where do I share my links” and so I think it might be easier of there was a place, but I don;t know that he has time for it and I worry about if I do it people will think it’s my brain child when it’s not.
