Final Patrick Poll

the OLD cover

Thanks so much to everyone who voted in the poll for what to call the Patrick Prequel! We are down to the three most popular, so drop a vote if you would, and let me know what YOU like!

“Not a love story…a dark spiral into blackness.”

“If you’ve read Shades of Gray, you know how this has to end.”

Patrick is a twenty-something scrounger who’s decided to grow up – sort of. With a job and his first apartment, he’s plagued by problems; the love of his life is with another guy and his brother Michael is missing.

Then Michael comes back.

Turned into a vampire against his will, Michael is kept as a whipping boy by the coven. When he begs for help, Patrick investigates their creepy mansion. Captured, he’s claimed as a slave who straddles two worlds; one of light and one of dark.

Vampires warring with the coven offer sanctuary – if the brothers help destroy it from the inside out. Patrick does his best, but blood and murder leave heavy marks on his soul. He seeks redemption in the arms of his first love, only to discover that there’s no forgiveness for him.

Until he meets Katelina. Though he knows he shouldn’t, he falls in love and, with a glimmer of hope, is finally ready to push things with the vampires so he can leave the darkness behind. However, all victories come with a price, and the cost of this one could be his very life.

  1. Reblogged this on bookbornblog.

  2. Brothers of darkness for me. Don’t forget there was a series about WW2 called Blood Brothers. Not exactly the same but a little close.
