Terms and Conditions: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. A winner will be randomly drawn through the widget and will be contacted by email within 48 hours after the giveaway ends. The winner will then have 72 hours to respond. If the winner does not respond within 72 hours, a new draw will take place for a new winner. Winner is responsible for providing a mailing address for the prizes and/or an email address for the gift card. Odds of winning will vary depending on the number of eligible entries received. This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Amazon, or Barnes and Noble. This giveaway is sponsored by the author, Joleene Naylor. If you have any additional questions – feel free to send and email to Joleene (at) joleenenaylor (dot) com

Official Website Launch!

It’s official! The new website – http://JoleeneNaylor.com – is finished. Done. Ready for world wide release.

So what does that mean?

It’s time for a giveaway! Since the latest book is Heart of the Raven… what? No, sadly I don’t have any vampire hearts up for grabs, but I do have the next best thing – some adorable little ravens!

crows

That’s right, up to three lucky winners will each get one of these little ravens. They come with wire on their feet so you can attach them to anything you want. They look great as everyday decor, or with Halloween around the corner you can use them as part of you holiday decorations. How do you enter? It’s easy, just checkout the updated site at http://JoleeneNaylor.com and then let me know in a comment below what your favorite part is. The more entries I get, the more winners there will be (up to three), so be sure to share it (there are some handy Facebook, twitter, Pinterest buttons etc. at the bottom of this post).

And that’s it! Check the site, leave a comment below (with a way for me to contact you, either email or your facebook profile) and you’re entered. Random.org will choose the winner(s) on the 30th of September and I will notify them by mail or FB message no later than October 2nd. If I don’t hear back within a week I will choose a new winner. Etc. Etc.

Thanks for stopping in and good luck!

The “Something Old, Something New” Giveaway

As I mentioned in my previous post I’ve been behind, which means I wasn’t able to fully promote the blog tour. That was sad because there were some great hosts and some interesting posts. Thanks to the “forever” nature of the internet, though, it’s never too late to go see something old as if it were new, nor is it too late t giveaway the last pack of Executioner collector cards:

The whole pack – 15 Executioners and one “cover” card:

the whole set

the whole set

The cards are printed on both front and back:

Each card has a front and a back

Each card has a front and a back

Pretty cool, huh? But how can you get your hands on them? It’s easy. Just follow the links below and leave a comment on at least three of the blog posts. You’ll need to comment here and leave me a contact address (either Facebook or your email) and if you want you can tell me where you commented, but you don’t have to. Every comment you leave on an additional blog is an extra entry, so you could actually get up to twenty-two entries by commenting. And if someone says you sent them to this blog in a comment, you get five extra. Oh, and if you’ve already commented on them, say back when the tour was running, then that counts. How easy is that?

Winner will be chosen on June 1, 2013 by Random.org and will be notified by their preferred contact method. If, after two weeks, they haven’t responded a new winner will be chosen. This is open to US and International participants.

And now for that list of eligible blog posts!

Good luck and hope to see you play along!

I *heart* Books Blog Hop

valentine maekoPlease allow me to introduce myself! My name is Maeko Tsukino, and I would like to welcome to our entry for the I *heart* books blog hop. The hop is sponsored by the Ink Slingers’ League, a group of authors who hang out in google groups and share promotion ideas, small excerpts for critique and amusing banter. Please check out the other blogs involved in the hop for chances to win cool prizes and find new authors.

As you have probably guessed, I am a new character in the Amaranthine series. Though we’ll meet officially in Heart of the Raven, the fifth book in the series, which will be officially released March 13, 2013, my author thought it would be fun to introduce me early. My author posted and asked what you’d like to know, so here are the answers:

How did you become entangled with Jorick and friends?

This is a tricky question for me to answer. I knew one of them a long time ago.

Are you ever saddened that you were turned?

I am not saddened by it anymore. perhaps I was at first, when I fully understood what it meant, but I have since come to accept it.

What’s your name?

In the United States you would say it is Maeko Tsukino

Are you good or evil?

Does anyone believe that they are evil? I would guess that Nordin-san means “Does Jorick-ue and Kate-chan consider you good or evil” and I would hope that they think I am good.

I hope this has answered some of your questions! Now for a Valentine’s prize.

Enter to win this Valentine prize basket (including everything you need for a romantic day with your books: a goblet for your favorite drink, a candle to set the mood, my favorite pocky sticks and a cuddly friend) by leaving your email address in a comment below. My author will use Random.org to choose the winner on February 17th, 2013. The winner will be notified by email and will need to provide a mailing address. Should the winner regrettably be allergic to the Red 40 in the pocky sticks, a chocolate variety will be substituted.
